Challenging skies above the horizon on one side of the home  in contrast with the sun shining from the opposite direction, are symbolic of the fact that many personal sacrifices past, present and future have and will be made in order to achieve and maintain the freedom we all enjoy in America. 

No matter the challenges we face as Americans, we take time to honor the fallen and remember their sacrifices are why we are who we are today.
