A life long love of the woods and fields led Julie Juratic to the study of plants. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany, Julie went on to explore her interest in photography. She has always been fascinated with the designs and microcosms in nature that are so often overlooked in the rush of modern life. Photography and digital imaging have enabled her to explore and share the intricacies of nature in a way that transforms flowers and leaves into luminous creations. Exhibitions include: MacWorld Expo 2005 (San Fransisco, CA) Peninsula Museum of Art (Belmont, California), Silicon Valley Art Museum, Eye-Candy Gallery (Cleveland, OH), Peninsula Gallery (Peninsula, OH)
